The Children we Work With

DePaul Community Resources works with children from
age 0-21. Many of these children may have
special needs, including:

  • Emotional problems
  • Behavioral problems
  • Poor self-esteem
  • School difficulties
  • Medical or physical disabilities
  • Mental retardation & developmental delays
  • Sibling groups who need to stay together

The majority of the children we work with are
survivors of neglect and abuse.

Although we do work with children of all ages, we are
especially in need of foster parents who would
open their home to:

  • Children age 8 or older
  • Teenagers
  • Sibling groups
  • Children who are coming out of a group home or residential setting
  • Children who are in need of a permanent, adoptive home
